MARVET externships incorporate activities with key aquatic species such as bottlenose dolphins, manatees, sea lions, marine turtles, selected shark species and fish.
Select MARVET workshops have been held in facilities where aquatic animals are placed for rehabilitation before being returned to the wild. Leading animal care specialists instruct participants in clinical procedures and care of the animals.
